Give an output constant current which can be adjusted by an external resistor connected between the terminal IADJ. This allows us to adjust the output current between 300 and 1000mA. The range of output voltage is adjusted to get maximum power between 625 and 1000mA. In this way we can get the maximum power output while to adjust to different current values. The sources of constant power offer a wide operating range (voltage + current), allowing to use one model for different applications with different requirements of voltage and current.
